CCEntertainment presents “Working on a mystery” a collection of Tom Petty tunes.
It’s been 50 years since his debut release with the Heartbreakers in 1976 and has since sold more than 80 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time.
To honour this great artist, we’ve selected some of Melbourne’s seasoned musicians with impressive credentials including vocal performances from Mick Pealing (Stars), Darren Constable, Cynthia Gallie and Andy McLean (Horsehead/Truck), with Jeff Consi (Badloves), Jason Vorherr (Daryl Braithwaite), Jack Stevenson (Zep Boys) and Aynsley Green (Yacht Rock Revival) under the watchful eye of Joseph Calderazzo (Bloomvilles) to keep the flame of Petty’s musical legacy burning bright.
You can expect everything from the big hits to deeper album cuts, creating a comprehensive musical experience for fans of all levels including "American Girl" (1976), "Don't Do Me Like That" (1979), "Refugee" (1980), "Don't Come Around Here No More" (1985) "Running down a dream" (1989), "Learning to Fly" (1991). "I Won't Back Down" (1989), "Free Fallin'" (1989), and "You Don't Know How It Feels" (1994).

After two sold-out nights in January 2026 CCEntertainment will return to MEMO Music Hall for another TWO BIG NIGHTS on Friday 8 & Saturday 9 January 2027 to deliver ‘The Great Gig In The Sky’ honouring the musical legacy of the great Pink Floyd.
Now in its 24th year this hugely popular show has been an annual staple on the Sydney calendar and ventures into Melbourne for the 7th time.
This brilliant homage concert features exceptional guest performances from some of Australia’s favourite vocalists including Mick Pealing, Darren Constable, Deborah Taylor and Cynthia Gallie.
Expect to hear classics such as Money, Time, Us and Them, Comfortably Numb, Have a Cigar, Another Brick in the Wall, Shine on you crazy diamond plus many more!
Creative director Joseph Calderazzo (Bloomvilles, Jenny Morris) will coordinate a superb eight-piece band including guitar-great Shannon Bourne (Checkerboard Lounge, Don Walker), Ian Tilley (Boom Crash Opera), Jeff Consi (Badloves), Amy Nelson (Little Green) and Aynsley Green (Yacht Rock Revival, Havana Social Club).
